Compostable V-cups Decaf
For our Decaf V-cups we have selected high-quality Guatemalan SHB coffee, which has a versatile aroma with sweet notes. These are premium 100% Arabica beans that grow at approximately 1500 meters. The higher a coffee estate is situated, the slower the coffee trees grow. The blend shows hazelnut and dark chocolate tones because the acidity is restricted during the decaffeinating process. The Decaf V-cup is pleasant to enjoy all day.
Over 92% of all the decaf coffee in Europe is decaffeinated by unhealthy chemicals like dichloromethane. Vascobelo, however, uses decaf that is 100% free of any chemicals. We use a natural decaffeinating method using carbon dioxide (CO2). We use CO2 to extract caffeine from raw coffee beans under high pressure, while leaving the critical components that are of crucial importance for the coffee’s aroma intact.
