Le Rêve du Comte
Le Rêve du Comte has a lovely, deep, almost garnet-red colour. The bouquet is pleasant with hints of fresh blackcurrant, flowers (wilted rose, violet), as well as red-berry fruit, such as strawberries, and a slightly minty aroma. The suppleness of the first impression on the palate follows through with lovely balance, fruity flavours, and some toasty overtones. This wine still has all its youthful vigour, with powerful tannin and the potential to age well for years to come.
This wine can be paired with starters, white meats, vegetables and red meats.
2016 vintage: 89-90/100 points
Father De Roeck and the whole family have been coming together to the south of France for almost 50 summers. Together with other French friends and families, they have enjoyed the beauty of the landscape, the warmth of the sun, the delicacy of fresh fruits, and the values of friendship. But above all, they have experienced the power of wine, which is bringing people together, sharing moments and having extraordinary social interactions. Accordingly, the Vascobelo Wine collection celebrates this close connection between people from different backgrounds.
Vascobelo wines from ‘La Collection de Rêve’ originates from Bordeaux, but more precisely from Château Bonnet, owned by the oldest and most renowned families in the Bordeaux Region: The André Lurton Family. Winegrowers from generation to generation, they are enthusiastic about what they do and devoted to producing outstanding wines. Owners of several chateaux, their name guarantees expertise and quality. Up to this day, Les Vignobles André Lurton remains the largest wineries in the Bordeaux region.
We are proud that this 2016 Vintage received a score of 89-90/100 points in previous years.
