COMPOSTABLE V-CUPS
Once a comprise where convenience was more important than quality, coffee capsules are now able to produce delicious and high-quality espresso, quickly and easy. Even better, they can also be good for the environement ! In fact, our compostable V-cups are an initiative of the Vascobelo Happy Future program, where together with you, we contribute to a more sustainable world.
ECO-FRIENDLY COFFEE
We love to drink high-quality coffee, especially when the planet loves it too. Therefore, we are more than proud to announce that all our V-cups are 100% compostable. These compostable cups are made with natural materials only and are free from aluminium.
The cups have a base of starch and plant-based glucose, and the top foil is created with plant-based extracts. These components are woven into each other, which gives a paper feel.
The cup itself is made with oxygen barriers, which means that no oxygen will get into the coffee cup. The main advantages are that it creates a longer shelf life and most importantly, it ensures that no other packaging is used. We want this to be the start of enjoying coffee at home in the most sustainable way.
HAPPY FUTURE
Our compostable V-cups are available to purchase either in recyclable sleeves that contain 10 pieces, or linen reusable bags with 25 pieces. Because we want to encourage refilling the same bag, we offer you the possibility to go to any of our locations to mix and match your favourite flavours and in return, our barista will treat you to the coffee of your choice.
